Convenient and insightful ways to fulfill clock hours or continuing education requirements.

Do you prefer to read alone on your own time, or would you rather engage in a group setting? Either way, Teacher Study has a program for you. K-12 teachers are able to choose between two options for meeting clock hours or continuing education requirements:

Book Studies

Our book studies offer the busy teacher an opportunity to earn 30 professional development hours or graduate credit from the comfort of their own home. Work at your own pace and take up to one year from registration to complete a book study. Once you've registered you will have instant access to your assignments and to our team in case you have any questions along the way.

Teacher Study offers Washington State Teachers clock hours provided by OSPI approved ESD 112.

We are a Texas Education Agency CPE Preferred Provider and State of Nevada Department of Education Approved Provider

Graduate credits are offered through our partners at accredited Seattle Pacific University.

Can I transfer professional development credits between states?

Usually! If you wish to be able to transfer credits from one state to the next, check with the licensing agencies in all states where you may be seeking employment to gain a clear picture of what will transfer where.

I’m pursuing a degree. Can my college credits count toward my professional development requirements?

Probably, but always check with your state’s agency to be sure!

Why do I have to register with the university and then again with Teacher Study if I want to receive graduate credit?

These courses are a split registration model. Assignments are only obtained from Teacher Study once your registration and fee are received. Once you register through the university, you will then be directed back to Teacher Study's website to complete your registration and have immediate access to your assignments.
